A cranial prosthesis is not the same product as a fashion wig, and the distinction matters for coverage. When your provider writes a prescription using that language, many plans treat it as a covered prosthetic device rather than a cosmetic purchase.

Minnesota law requires many health plans to cover scalp hair prostheses for medically caused hair loss. We handle the prescription and billing side so you can focus on the fitting.

Fittings are done in person and privately. Items here can also be purchased outright if you prefer not to involve insurance.
